Merge GIFs — One Animation,
No Upload
Put your GIFs in order and join them into one continuous sequence. Fit different dimensions onto a shared canvas, with transparent or white padding. GIF files never leave your browser.

1. Choose your GIFs
Select two to ten GIFs from your device, or drop them into the tool. Add more files or remove an item before processing. Original filenames stay out of the page and analytics.
2. Arrange and fit
Move each GIF up or down to set the playback order. Choose the shared canvas, padding and final loop setting. Each source runs once before the next begins.
3. Preview and download
Select Merge GIFs, then check the combined animation and actual output bytes. Download the GIF to your device. Re-encoding can change colors and make the result larger.
One sequence, one shared canvas
A GIF merger joins several animations into a single file with a shared frame area. GifLoom combines them one after another, rather than overlaying images. That makes it useful for a sequence of reactions, a short walkthrough or several related clips.
Fit without losing the edges
The largest-canvas option uses the widest source and tallest source. Match first GIF uses the first item’s canvas and scales larger sources down to fit. Both preserve the entire image with proportional scaling and centered padding; smaller sources are not enlarged.
Choose how the sequence ends
Input loop counts do not add extra cycles. Loop forever repeats the finished sequence from the beginning; Play once writes it without a loop extension. Source frame delays stay with their frames, although browser playback may clamp very short delays.
Transparency and frame composition
GIF frames can contain only patches of an image. The local Worker builds each complete source frame using its disposal instructions before fitting it onto the shared canvas. Transparent padding keeps clear areas clear; White fills them with white. Source canvases start afresh between files, so the end of one GIF does not leak into the next.
The output uses new color palettes and can differ slightly from its inputs. GifLoom does not promise lossless color reproduction or a smaller file. No frames are silently dropped to meet a limit: an over-budget job stops with an explanation.

Frequently asked questions
How do I merge GIFs into one animation?
Choose at least two local GIFs, then arrange them with the up and down buttons. Select a canvas and background before merging. Download the result after checking its preview. Files never leave your browser.
Can I change the order of the GIFs?
Yes. The list plays from top to bottom, and the arrow buttons move a GIF one position at a time. Reordering clears any previous result so the next download uses the current list. Match first GIF also follows the new first item.
What happens when the GIFs have different dimensions?
The default canvas uses the largest width and largest height in your selection. Smaller GIFs are centered without being enlarged. Match first GIF fits larger sources proportionally inside the first canvas, adding padding instead of cropping.
Will all of the original frames be included?
Every source frame is included once, in the order shown. Each GIF runs through one cycle before the next starts, even if its original loop setting repeats it. The selected final loop setting applies to the combined animation.
Are the original frame delays retained?
The encoder retains each stored delay, including very short delays. Web browsers may clamp those delays during playback, so visible timing can differ from stored timing. The displayed duration is the sum of stored delays for one combined cycle.
Does the result keep transparent backgrounds?
Transparent padding is selected by default, and transparent areas of the composed source frames remain transparent. Choose White to flatten those areas and any padding onto white. GIF supports a single transparent color rather than partial alpha, and re-encoding can change colors.
Can I merge GIFs side by side?
This tool joins animations in sequence, one after another. It does not place them beside each other or overlap layers. The canvas controls fit each source into the same output area.
Why is the merged file larger than my inputs?
The result includes every frame from every selected GIF. Padding, larger canvases and re-encoding can increase the number of bytes. GifLoom always returns the merged animation; use the GIF compressor afterward if you need a smaller file.
What are the limits for merging GIFs?
Choose 2–10 GIFs with a combined input of at most 50 MB and at most 1,000 frames. Source and output frames are limited to 4 million pixels each, with a 40 million total frame-pixel budget for each side. Output is capped at 50 MB, and processing stops after 90 seconds with no partial download.
Are my GIF files uploaded or saved?
Files never leave your browser for merging. The selection and results stay in browser memory, and Clear all releases the tool’s references. Downloaded files remain on your device. Optional analytics record only consented page and tool events, without filenames, settings or image data.
