“Local · 0 Uploads” means GifLoom does not upload your GIF files for processing. It does not mean visiting a website involves no network requests.

GIF files and results
The GIF compressor reads the file you select into your browser’s memory. Decoding, frame composition, compression, and preview generation happen on your device. GifLoom does not send your file contents, filename, image pixels, or generated GIF to a server or analytics provider.
Files and results are not saved in browser databases or a GifLoom account. Selecting another file, removing a file, or closing the page releases the tool’s references. A file you download remains on your device under your control; browser memory reclamation is managed by your browser.
Website delivery
Cloudflare delivers the static website. Requests for pages and assets necessarily include network information such as your IP address, request time, browser information, and requested URL. Cloudflare may process this information for delivery, reliability, and abuse prevention under its privacy policy. This hosting traffic does not contain your selected GIF.
Optional analytics
Optional analytics are off until you select Allow analytics. If you reject them, the GIF tool still works. Consent is stored locally as a preference; it contains no GIF data.
- Plausible, provided through ShipSolo: page visits and a small set of tool events, such as compression starting, completing, failing, being cancelled, and a download being clicked.
- Google Analytics 4: page visits and the same limited tool events. Advertising storage, Google signals, and advertising personalization are disabled. Google privacy policy.
- Microsoft Clarity: interaction recording on the About and Privacy pages only, after consent. Clarity is not loaded on the GIF tool page. Microsoft privacy statement.
Analytics may process device and browser information, page routes, visit timestamps, identifiers, and IP-derived approximate location. GifLoom does not add filenames, file content, input values, output images, or full referring URLs to events. Query strings and fragments are excluded from configured page reporting. Third-party processing may occur outside your country.
Cookies and your choice
Plausible is designed for cookie-free analytics. Google Analytics and Clarity can set first-party analytics cookies after consent. Third-party retention is governed by the relevant service and configured account settings; GifLoom does not claim that all providers retain information for the same period.
Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time. Withdrawing consent stops GifLoom events, removes accessible first-party analytics cookies, and reloads the page to unload the analytics scripts. Download any local result first. Withdrawal does not erase data already processed by a provider.
No advertising in this release
This release does not load ad-network scripts, sell GIF files, or provide user accounts. If these practices change, this notice and the consent controls will be updated before the new processing is enabled.

If you email support@gifloom.com, the team receives the address and information you choose to send in order to respond. Please describe issues without attaching confidential files. You can use the same address to ask about personal information, access or deletion requests, or this notice. The rights available to you depend on your location.
Changes to this notice
The date above identifies the current version. Material changes to optional processing require an updated notice and, where applicable, a new consent choice. You can continue using the compressor without optional analytics.
